The CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public places where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face covering to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.

HOW TO WEAR A CLOTH FACE COVERING MASK:

• Wash your hands before putting on your mask and after removing it

• It is best practice to not touch your face when wearing this or other masks. Try not to mess with it once it’s on

• Make sure the mask fits snug on your face without any gaps - adjust elastic strap if needed by tying a knot to elastic band on ears

• Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children younger than 2 years of age, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the cover without assistance

• Masks should be routinely washed - hang dry only
